‘La Parisienne Tail’
A vintage styled tail, inspired by storybook and magazine mermaids from a bygone era. In particular, the wonderful illustrations from the 1920s by Chéri Hérouard, for the magazine ‘La Vie Parisienne.’
An eel-like dark hued tail with a contrasting pinkish-coral cauda fin underpins this design. The dark tone centre hints at the possibility of legs beneath and the skin blend dips at the hips. In a step away from realism, the scales are intentionally large - as they are hand-drawn this is a nod to showing they are illustrations, much like the storybook mermaids.
Fin shape shown created for the Mahina monofin. Can be adapted for the Fish Fin, Linden, or for other fins for use with vinyl.

Our tail designs are created using a combination of hand drawn elements combined with digital design, then sublimation printed onto our fabric.
Our tails are created from 250gsm stretch polyester - quick drying and ideal for swim and sportswear.
Can be designed to fit the Lucia/fish fin monofin, the mahina, or Linden - to be purchased separately.
