The Charmouth Tail

A bespoke product created to your custom measurements.

Our tail designs are created using a combination of hand drawn elements combined with digital design, then sublimation printed onto our fabric.

Our tails are created from 250gsm stretch polyester - quick drying and ideal for swim and sportswear.

Can be designed to fit the Lucia/fish fin monofin, the mahina, or Linden - to be purchased separately.

Please be aware colours may be slightly different when printed to the digital artwork. Please contact us if you would like a fabric sample.

As our mermaid tails are custom made to your measurements, we regrettably do not offer returns or refunds on this product.

For UK customers, your tail will be sent free of charge, tracked and signed for.

For international customers we use DHL express. The cost of shipping is £45 and parcels usually arrive within 2-7 working days. Please be aware customs and taxes may apply and are payable by the customer.

To prolong the life of your tail, please follow the following care guidance:

• Take care not to overstretch when putting in/removing          monofin.
• Always rinse with clean, cool water after use in pools or the sea and lie flat to dry to avoid stretching.
• Avoid standing in the tail or dragging along pool sides or in sand.
• Store away from sharp objects or rough surfaces and velcro to avoid pilling and pulls.

Mermaid Tail Safety

Swimming in a mermaid tail can be dangerous.

Prior to ordering your mermaid tail, please read the following safety guidance and advice:

•  Tails skins are designed to be worn with a monofin. This is not provided by The Mermaid’s Tail and must be purchased separately.
• Tails are for experienced, confident swimmers.
•  Never swim alone. Always swim with a competent swimmer who is not wearing a tail, who can help if needed.
• Ensure you are confident swimming in a monofin prior to using a tail skin over.
• Tail skins are for adult use only and not recommended for under 18s.
• When swimming in open water, take necessary precautions – check local guidance to ensure water is safe for swimming.
• Only swim in calm, clear water – check weather conditions and look for rip tides.
• Don’t swim out of your depth.
• Check local tide times.
• Be aware of hypothermia.
• Free diving and mermaid certified courses are recommended, such as PADI Mermaid.
• Know your limit.

The responsibility for safe use of the mermaid tail lies with the consumer and wearer.
